06/10/2012

Under the title Green Business Europe, The Green Oportunity, the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (CEAJE) together with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Basque Country (AJEBASK) organised its 17th congress, which focused on new business opportunities for entrepreneurs in the area of renewable energy, sustainability, recycling and everything related to the Eco-Economy in general.

The event, which was held on 5 - 6 October at the Europa Conference Centre in Vitoria-Gasteiz, was organised by CEAJE, an institution that brings together associations of young entrepreneurs from all over Spain.

The Prince of Girona Foundation (FPdGi) took part in the congress with a presentation of the Being an Entrepreneur is Possible digital platform, a project led by Indra, a trustee of the FPdGi, and supported by CEAJE, DGiPYME, the Government of Catalonia and Novagroup. The presentation was introduced by David Pascual from Indra and Salvador Maneu from the FPdGi.

During the two days of the congress those attending had the chance to participate in the Living Lab, which was set up by the FPdGi to inform people about the platform and receive their suggestions for improvement. The aim is to turn the platform into a valuable tool for any entrepreneur in the process of defining his or her business idea.
