The creator of Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales, the inventor of Internet identities, Paul Mockapetris, the former president of the World Bank, James D. Wolfensohn, the creator of the OuiShare collaborative movement, Antonin Léonard, and Josu Jon Imaz, the new CEO of Repsol, are just some of the guest speakers appearing at the IMPULSA Forum 2014.

The event, which takes place on 26 and 27 June at the Girona Conference Centre, aims to turn this fifth edition into an amplifier for successful projects and initiatives based on collaboration.

The main innovations in IMPULSA2014 are the Open Sessions, which will offer a wide range of activities open to different audiences, and the expansion of the Close Encounters. Both sets of activities will be held in different venues in the city of Girona. The registration period for taking part in this year’s edition is already open.

‘IMPULSA Forum: open and collaborative’ is the slogan for this new edition of IMPULSA, which has evolved to become consolidated as a platform where restless young people can meet, connect and activate their talents for social transformation. After concentrating on exploring the potential of collaboration in the last two editions, in this year’s Forum we will see the results of initiatives based on pooling resources and widespread capacities to generate value for everybody involved and also for society in general.

The Forum opening ceremony will be led by H.R.H. the Prince of Asturias and of Girona. This will be followed by the programme of presentations by leaders of high-impact open and collaborative initiatives and projects.
