A jury of experts chose Claudia María Tecglen García for her social impact through the promotion of equal opportunities in her actions and for the quality of her management and transparency. The jury also highlighted her “exemplarity as an inspiring role model for other young people”.
The jury, who met this morning at RiojaForum in Logroño, was chaired by the former president of UNICEF Spain,Consuelo Crespo, and formed of Isabel Oriol Díaz de Bustamante, former president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and its Scientific Foundation; Irene Milleiro, director of Ashoka Spain; Natalia Peiro, secretary general of Cáritas; Belén Viloria, director of brand strategy and communication for the Spanish Red Cross; Felipe Campos, 2013 FPdGi Social Award winner, INJUVE National Youth Award winner, general manager of the Itaca Educational Association and CEO of Aigües de Barcelona, part of the AGBAR Group; and Luz Rello, 2013 FPdGi Social Award winner and founder of ChangeDyslexia, who acted as secretary.
