IMPULSA will be broadcasted at 1200 Universities worldwide

The IMPULSA Forum will be broadcastet at 1,200 universities worldwide through the portal Universia.

The IMPULSA Forum, the main event of the Prince of Girona Foundation, will be broadcasted at 1,200 Catalan, Spanish and Portuguese-speaking universities worldwide through the portal Universia. The speeches and debates can also be followed live through the IMPULSA blog and Infonomia.com.

The first edition of the IMPULSA Forum will take place on 1 July at the Auditorio - Palacio de Congresos in Girona. It will last the entire day, with the inauguration and closing ceremony presided over by Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Asturias and Girona.

Universia is an Internet portal that connects 1,200 Spanish and Latin American universities. In streaming format through this portal, the IMPULSA Forum will be broadcast live to all the universities that are part of Universia. The Forum speeches and debates will be offered in Catalan, Spanish and English and the broadcast can also be followed with simultaneous translation.

IMPULSA will bring together in Girona a group of distinguished speakers from around the world and more than 400 guests. Among the speakers will be Muhammad Yunus, winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize and the 1998 Príncipe de Asturias de la Concordia Award; Zaryn Dentzel, founder of the social networking site Tuenti; Isak Andic, president of Mango; and the young entrepreneurs Javier Fernández - Han and Pau García - Milà.
