The Prince and Princess of Asturias and of Girona, Felipe and Letizia, attended the presentation of the Prince of Girona Foundation in Andalusia. Conceived to make the Foundation known, this was the first of series of public activities that will be held in different places in Spain.

In his speech, Prince Felipe stated that the Prince of Girona Foundation "seeks to be a centre of reflection on proposals that will allow a definition of the future of young people, looking ahead in an integrating spirit and taking an open comprehensive approach. In a new and better society, it is firmly committed to favouring the necessary changes and to allowing the emergence of initiatives, leadership, creativity and entrepreneuring capacity in our society and especially in our youth".
