Girona, 1 October, 2010. Arcadi Calzada, Chairman of the Prince of Girona Foundation to date, has submitted his resignation and will no longer be responsible for executive management of the Foundation. Personal circumstances have made advisable this resignation, accepted by the Executive Committee, in order to have greater freedom in the management and defense of his interests as well as safeguarding those of the Prince of Girona Foundation.

This change in the Foundation Management will not represent any setback in the course of the foundation’s activities, since it is currently equipped with a professional and solvent team capable of advancing the ongoing projects.

The Foundation, on behalf of all the governmental bodies of the same, wishes to publicly thank Arcadi Calzada for his great contribution and the excellent work he has done, both in getting the project started and during the entire time he has been in charge of its management.
