PGiF at the 50th Anniversary of the Girona Trade Fair

The 1st Meeting of Entrepreneurs has taken place in conjunction with the holding of the 50th edition of the Girona Trade Fair. PGiF ran a stand at this event, allowing it to make its activities known to over 10,000 visitors.

In addition, PGiF held a round table discussion entitled “The Driving Force of Entrepreneurship” in the afternoon of October 28. Moderated by the journalist Albert Brosa, a speaker at the IMPULSA Forum 2011, the round table featured the participation of four young people from different spheres of activity: Marc Capilla, winner of the YUZZ 2011 Prize (Banesto Foundation); Romain Quidant, winner of the IMPULSA Science and Academics Prize 2011; Borja Bagunyà, winner of the IMPULSA Culture and Sports Prize 2011, and Jia Jia Wang Liu, a speaker at the IMPULSA Forum 2011. The discussion, structured around the conclusions of the White Paper on Entrepreneurship in Spain, became a stimulating conversation on key aspects of entrepreneurship, such as talent, risk, ideas and the relation between younger and older people. It also included the participation of experts from the business, scientific, social and educational fields, who posed some questions to the young participants from the front row.

On Friday morning, in the opening ceremony of the Meeting of Entrepreneurs, the General Manager of PGiF presented to the Right Honorable President of the Catalan Government, Artur Mas, the executive summary of the White Paper which had been presented officially to H.R.H. the Prince of Asturias and of Girona at La Zarzuela Palace on October 27.
