Helena is currently the president and CEO of Hewlett Packard for Spain and Portugal, a position she has held since 2012. She joined the company in 1982, and was named vice-president in 2002. Helena serves on the Board of Directors of Gas Natural Fenosa and is the president of Fundación l+E Innovación España. A trustee of the Cotec Foundation for Innovation and of the Princess of Girona Foundation, she is also a member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Governing Council of the Association for Management Progress (APD) and the Business Action Council of the Spanish Confederation of Employers’ Organizations (CEOE). Vice-president of AmChamSpain, member of the Board of Directors of the American Business Council in Spain and Fundación Consejo España-Estados Unidos, Helena also sits on the IESE Alumni Association’s Executive Committee, on the Board of Junior Achievement and the Governing Council and Monitoring Committee of the Atlantic Copper University Chair of Metal Mining and Metallurgy, as well as the Board of Directors of Netmentora Madrid. She was named Person of the Year 2017 by Byte TI magazine, Executive of the Year 2013 by Ejecutivos magazine and by FEDEPE, Woman Director 2015 by Madrid Woman’s Week and she won the Valencian Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals (EVAP) Award for Professionalism. Helena was born in Madrid, is married and has two children. She graduated in chemistry and has taken postgraduate studies in management at INSEAD and IESE. |
